Being the official car supplier of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, Hyundai is doing its best to associate its cars with the sporting spectacle that kicks off on June 11. This time Hyundai's UK arm commissioned the build of two football-themed cars.
Interestingly, these two i10s were previously used by Jeremy Clarkson in his DVD 'Duel' and ended up damaged. Instead of repairing the creased panels, Hyundai decided to give both cars a second shot at fame.
Both promotional i10s are covered in artificial turf while the centre circle on the roof is home to a giant 1.5 meter-tall football. Other exterior features include the goal posts on the bonner, the soccer ball wheels and the football shoe mirrors.
Each car has a unique interior, with one featuring a 'grass' look to match the exterior, and the other a football theme, right down to the soccer-ball headrests.
Hyundai said that the i10 football cars will be used for promotional World Cup activity at various events up and down the country.

what a cool, fun idea for the family to enjoy along with the sport! great public relations :0)
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!
neat! many youngsters will like these... my affair with cars started with plymouth marketing an early 70's roadrunner and a family visit the local chrysler-plymouth-imperial dealership to pick up our gorgeous new 1973 chrysler imperial lebarron - its full moniker. the roadrunner (t.v.) "cartoon character" was there and the actual car horn sounding like the 'birds beep-beep impressed me as a child. it was cool... i still have some old chrysler product brochures from that visit. btw, i miss that massive rich "mocha brown" imperial.
Jeremy ShitSon remains a criticizer and destroys cars whereas Hyundai has used the cars to create a completely new promotional vehicle.
Shows Creativity = Productivity.
great thread! good to see children and families mentioned on a site often geared towards dream cars, trucks and suv's. awesome post, carscoop! the diversity of products for sale or show is most impressive.
"remains a criticizer"
The very nature and tone of your argument suggest that you are trying to imply that criticism of any sort is wrong...which itself is a wrong way to think.
criticism is good for building proper products; the only ones that are against criticism are those that can't take it and have something to hide.
"Shows Creativity = Productivity."
That makes as much sense as saying "something new = doing stuff". Do you even read what you've written when you start to type?
Expalin how fitting football nets to a car's roof equates to productivity. Hell, I wouldn't even call fitting a football net to the roof of a car as creative; seems like the activities of a mad man.
"what a cool, fun idea for the family to enjoy along with the sport! great public relations :0)".
I agree... Hyundai is getting a little quirky with this cars...

"Criticism is good for building proprer products" - I have been watching ShitSon's shows for years now off and on that is... His criticism is never constructive its always biased...never changed.
"Explain how fitting football nets to a car's roof equates to productivity" - Moron... have
you taken closer look at the pics before you advice me on reading. They have used soccer shoes as side rear view mirrors, foot ball shaped wheel caps, nice use of corner lines and boundaries found on the football field on a small car, art grass turfs on exterior and interior.
Taking a damaged car and turning it into a excellent publicity vehicle is not productive?...then what is? ..... you TurdSon?
ooohhh girls girls girls.......

Irrespective of your viewing habbits, you're suggest that ANY criticism is wrong and uncalled for. Explain yourself as to why you'd ever think ANYTHING is above criticism.

*golf clap enthusiasm*
"Taking a damaged car and turning it into a excellent publicity vehicle is not productive?"
What? You'll take the word of a Hyundai exec and their PR teams that these are indeed the cars that appeared in duel?
You are credulous.
@ anon 10
Was that an argument?
^those that are anti-criticism wouldn't understand.
