Russia's Met-R Creates the BMW X6 Interceptor

|

Here are some photos of a BMW X6 wide-body kit designed by Zaur Khalilov of Zaoor Design. Created for Met-R, a Moscow-based tuning shop, it's called the Interceptor. As with any X6-based work, the actual work has to be evaluated (not the car). The Interceptor's nose is nice and aggressive, and those vertical driving lights just add to it. Even the matte black helps, but that's about as far as it goes.

A really interesting detail is the kidney eyebrows derived from the 6-Series, which help it stand out from the rest of the fender-extension tuner pack.

The rendering is nice-looking overall; unfortunately the car it's based on is not.

Any way you put it or make it, it is still, at the end of the day, a large turd. Please dump this crap car BMW!

my favorite bimmer! we took my brothers on a cross country vacation last summer and i am seriously thinking of adding one to my modest collection of three vehicles. the x6 is roomy, has outstanding handling and feels far more secure than any mercedes or bmw i have ever driven. i especially like the practicality of awd and its refreshing uniqueness. the red paint on my brother's car is strikingly rich and absolutely flawless. the fit, finish, quality (inside or out) are top rate. the cavernous cargo area is plenty for a couple or family of four. i am all over the suv crazy and ready for something sportier than your typically premium wagon, minivan, sedan or suv and could never live with a cramped coupe.

large turd? obviously, this poster is not apart of bmw's demographics, as the second writer, his brother and my bimmer family are. that word, slang, i think, has never been apart of our vocabulary nor used in germany or anywhere else i have traveled outside of the united states. i am most appreciative of bmw's wide variety of premium automobiles. an incredible selection of distinct offerings that give its diverse clientèle the assortment of cars, trucks, suv's and crossovers we desire and are willing to pay a sizable amount for to help ensure the quality and distinction we work so hard in life to enjoy. the multipurpose x6 is an amazing drive.

Well at least we'll be able to spot the tossers a little easier. Heck, I've already keyed two X6's.
