VIDEO: Frustrated BMW Driver Takes a Fit on Mazda3 Owner for Challenging Him

|

This Mazdaspeed3 owner was driving on a scenic road with a few soft twists somewhere in Northern California when at some point a BMW 335i saloon pulled out in front him and started lifting the pace. The Mazda driver decided to follow along keeping, however, a relatively safe distance from the bimmer.

What could be an interesting drive almost turned into a fight as the tool driver in the BMW stopped his car and approached the guy in the Mazda to show off his most prized talent aside from driving a bimmer: the ability to form actual swear words.

Luckily for him, the Mazdaspeed3 driver was far more cool headed than most people would be in this situation. Watch the clip below.

ok, somebody PLEASE ID that guy so we can harass him on the bmw forums!!

Anonymous said... »June 08, 2010

Usually when I hear people saying they weren't doing anything wrong when someone flipped out I don't believe them. Obviously this time the guy wasn't lying. That tool in the BMW really needs an anger management class.

Anonymous said... »June 08, 2010

What's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW? BMW the prick is on the inside. Wah Waaaa..

Anonymous said... »June 08, 2010

I've had a similar experience with a 5 series driver who felt he should outpace a Civic LX. OTOH, I also had a badge, a gun, and a blue light in the glovebox.
He won't do that again.

Anonymous said... »June 08, 2010

That was tailgating ????? hell i drive alot closer than that in my semi behind assholes ! i get my safety zone stolen from me over 10 times a day, and right after the squeeze real tight in between the car in front of me and my semi they always break hard ! so i say fine you want a semi right on ur ass you got it !!!

Anonymous said... »June 08, 2010

Tailgating?! You could have fit a bus inside the gap between the 2 cars!

Methinks the 3-series driver is bit of a sissy who cracks under very little pressure.

Cheche said... »June 08, 2010

for guys like this is why BMW drivers have a bad name :(

Doc_V said... »June 08, 2010

It's tools like that who give a bad name to Bimmer drivers. On a side note, that looked like Skyline to me, [Hwy35 in the hills above Woodside and Portola Valley]. It's pretty much known for people in all manner of cars [and especially motorcycles] driving at a "spirited" pace. Anyone who drives it should likely know that. Frankly, I was waiting for a Ducatti to come flying by at 80+ MPH in the opposite direction and clip the bastard for walking in the middle of the road.

new generation cops. everyone sudently decided to use a camere and upload your "personal movies" on youtube. this petrolhead believes that street is a racetrack. i think he spend the rest of his day on playstation or pc. well the unpolited driver here was obviously the mazda driver.

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

That man has some huge ego problem... He simply can't outrun a Mazdaspeed3...

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Unpolited? what the heck are you talking about... Are you the bmw driver that is trying to defend yourself? it seems like are the only guy siding on the Bimmer guy....

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

koz fighting is for men isnt it?

Franck said... »June 09, 2010

" ... the unpolited driver here was obviously the mazda driver..."
You kidding ????
The worst you can say is he was too polite ! Someone even called him chiken, poor guy !
The Mazda driver is the coolest yoga teacher I ever met !
I'm from France, and back there, we also have this kind of "king of the road wannabe" Bimmer.
Talk to me like that, as I did nothing wrong, and you will hear and feel what "unpolite" means !!!!!!!

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Mazda person handled it well. No point stooping down to his level.

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

BMW drivers sucks!!! "Ride my ass". You must be kidding with me.

Chicken Driver!

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

And this is why BMW drivers suck. Sorry, but it's true.

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

First off, if that was me, I would not have even stopped to film that. I would have drove right pass him.

Second, BMW man is lucky that Mazda dude did not have an 8-gauge in the car with him. One day, BMW man is going to walk up on the wrong car.

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Whats wrong with the BMW gay drivers ? He just stopped his car suddenly and said some shit!

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

I used to drive BMW's until jack-offs like this became the "typcial" BMW owner. What a whack job.

Bimbak said... »June 09, 2010

Awwwhhh... BMW driver got scared... how cute!
And how insecure you have to be to act like this? "ride my ass..." LOL

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Nice to know that BMW drivers are the same the whole world over!

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Someone is going to blow him away some day with that attitude.....

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Unbelievable. What a jerk. Hope he gets blown away by someone who doesn't like that attitude.

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

“Driving a bit slowly to give some room before I catch whoever is in frond of me”, “Danm someone pulled out right in frond of me…” “Ohhh … ooooh! Yes!” So who is looking for trouble? And then why does he give an explanation after "Sorry?" Maybe becouse of the scared or sissy tone of his voice?? Ok bmw driver is an asshole but mazdas driver is lucky he didnt see the camera inside the car. its obvious that your only problem is that than this guy or gay whatever is driving a bmw, and not his behaviour.

fo said... »June 09, 2010

YOU ARE ALL WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tailgating is the worst thing you can do especially on a road like that. He was using a wide lens winch makes things appear further than they really are(remember your right side rear view mirror?)

Personalty I hate it when people do that to me. There is nothing worse than a dorky tailgater, and you could see what a woos that Mazda driver was by the tone of his voice.

It's like they say; If you relate to the gazelle you are a victim, if you relate to the lion you are in charge of your life. I guess most of you on here are little bitty victim gazelles, and terrible drivers to boot if you think tailgating is justifiable. I'm willing to bet all of you have had car accidents.

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

Nice, quiet empty road...

I would have just shot the guy!

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

@fo: how exactly do you call that tailgating? even if this guy is using a "wide lens winch"(whatever the f*** that is) a camera can't miraculously make an extremely short distance(tailgating) look like the reasonable following distance displayed in this video. and if it did, there would be distortion of the image.

and the bmw driver(which you seem to be defending) in this would be the "little bitty victim gazelle" who got scared when a oh so scary mazda3 happened to be following a few car lengths behind him

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

hahahha there was a full 2 seconds distance against stationary objects, proper way to judge distance lens and distortion are irrelavant,

did this tool in the BMW have bi-focals hanging on his rear view mirror

oh and "fo" , your obviously the BMW driver that was caught on tape, don't sweat it in a few months no one will be talking about it anymore, next time don't be such a hard ass

Anonymous said... »June 09, 2010

fo your an idiot, the guy takes 12 steps car to car = 30-36 feet with the strides he's taking in his huffy puffy manner

i agree it was you..............hahaha guess this is your 15 minutes of fame, DUDE sucks to be you!

Anonymous said... »June 10, 2010

What had happened BEFORE the video starts?

Chris said... »June 10, 2010

dickheads like this is why I get treated like dirt on the road. if it is you Fo, change your car please.

Redskyblackdream said... »June 10, 2010

LMAO!!! HAHAHA! The driver of the "ultimate driving machine" tried twice in the video to lose him. Once he failed, he realized it was a Mazda3 keeping up with his BMW3 and he lost his balls. Dumb*ss. Kudos to the Mazda driver for keeping his cool because Im from Chicago and Im the one you guys are talking about that would have blew his head away with my treat in the glovebox. Honestly, I wouldnt have went that far but his face would have kissed the road before he got back in his BMW. (STILL Lmao!) This video made my day!

Anonymous said... »June 10, 2010

@Fo. You are a first class idiot. How can you say we are "WRONG" when CLEARLY the guy driving the car is not tail gating the car in front. How?

Loot at the visuals. When the first car passes things like a sign post there is a 2-3 second distance apart.

Wide lenses DONT bring things closer the make the shot "wider" so you see up to 180 degrees.

You can see the whole BMW plus its wheels. [THE NEXT TIME YOU TRY AND TAIL GATE SOMEONE YOU ONLY SEE THE BOOT/REAR OF THEW CAR AND ITS ROOF LINE AND NOT THE WHOLE CAR]

When the guy stops, and gets out of his car he has to WALK at least 13 steps before reaching the car filming the whole scene.

Fo, you should be a politician. You`re able to make up your mind with out gathering information FIRST,a nd twisting everthing.

Good look in life, Fo cos you`ll need it!

Anonymous said... »June 11, 2010

Our vision maybe jaded as I don't live in California, but if I had to live in a area with so many assholes flying up and down a public street I guess I would get pissed off as well. The only advise I would give the BMW drive is stay in you car, because if you were to pull that shit here in Philly the other drive would shot you. Take it to the track!

Anonymous said... »June 11, 2010

Bryceverest:

Actually, the Mazda driver could have shot the BMW driver, in self defense...and the video would have supported it. If the Mazda driver had insisted that he felt his life in danger ( I think it could be reasonably supported with the video...you never know what a whack job is going to do ) he could have shot him right there. Get out of the car, walk with attitude toward the other driver, and you can be shot. Also, don't walk up to a woman in a car..self defense for sure.

Anonymous said... »June 12, 2010

What a f'ing loser. Calling somebody else's car a shitbox? What a tool. He should be driving a tractor.

Anonymous said... »June 12, 2010

In London, if you drive a BMW, it's most likely you live in a council flat or on a council estate...! (government provided accommodation)

If it's a new one, then you're a drug dealer, or a benefit cheat, or both!

Anonymous said... »June 13, 2010

@fo: man, you ARE stupid.

Anonymous said... »June 13, 2010

How can someone say that this is tailgating?! It has a very good safety distance and that is visible when the BMW driver brakes! The Mazda had a lot of space to stop. The Mazda driver is a hero to me because he remained very calm. Me in the other hand, would beat is face to a pulp! I'm from Portugal and I sent this video to a lot of people (even guys that hate speed and cars), and everybody agree with me when I say that the Bmw driver is an idiot...

Anonymous said... »June 13, 2010

Actually i find the fact that some pansy, with a wanna be car, and his mounted camera, tried to antagonize a driver. Then acted like a bigger wus than the car he drives. The BMW pulled out, accelerated ahead to provide a safe distance, then diaper boy, behaved as a pestering mosquito, trying to follow his victim, only to get put in his place buy some ass in a BMW. The Mazda driver practically begged to not get his ass beat after he pushed the incident. I find both parties in this incident to be idiots. I wonder if the Mazda driver went home and cried to mommy in the basement before posting the video?

Anonymous said... »June 14, 2010

^ i think you are the bmw lover or something. If you are the driver of the BMW, i bet you feel sorry and cried under your basement that you cant drive your car the way that mazda did. With much of the BMW costs more! And the BMW is not the one provided the safe distance its the mazda who did you idiot!

Anonymous said... »June 14, 2010

^ Thinks i referred to both as being idiots, and called the driver of the BMW an ass. I doubt that makes me the BMW lover. Perhaps if you read the whole thing you might understand, or perhaps you are the bigger idiot. This article has nothing to do with the cost of either car. It's more about "two" idiots meeting on the road. But now its about 3 idiots, those two, and your commentary. Do everyone a favor, get an education, and learn to read!

Anonymous said... »June 14, 2010

Nope that makes us 4 since you replied back LMAO! Since you try to counter my post again, then you are the more idiot guy i think lol

Anonymous said... »June 24, 2010

As a general rule, don't run your mouth in front of a car, on a narrow road, on the side of a cliff like this guy did. The average driver isn't as mellow as this Mazda driver

Anonymous said... »July 01, 2010

The BMW driver really needs and attitude adjustment, like getting his ass kicked into the gutter where it belongs. The Mazda driver wasn't even tailgating. The BMW driver was just pissed that he couldn't drive faster than a Mazda. What a loser. He probably inherited the BMW.

Anonymous said... »July 01, 2010

It also seems like the guy in the Mazda was just out crusing around looking for something to put on Youtube. Who goes around videoing their driving. Pretty immature.

Anonymous said... »July 02, 2010

Love running away from or crowding a BMW (Especially and M3) in the twisties in my 'gutless' Miata. Love BMW's, but most of these brilliantly tuned cars are wasted on 99% of the owners. M3's are pure joy, but they won't magically transform an owner into a driver capable of using it's potential. So many great cars, so few real drivers.

Anonymous said... »July 02, 2010

^ Commented before watching video(Wouldn't play on CARSCOOP?).

This is a non-event. Guy wasn't tailgating, and neither were driving in the sporty mode that these cars are capable of.

I've been involved in some pretty good events worthy of Youtube. One with three cars (300ZX, Corvette, and SVO) for many miles (110 miles) across the South Central Oregon desert on the Warner hwy, from Lakeview to the Denio junction in Nevada. We all stopped at Denio and enjoyed a cool drink and rehashed the exhilarating experience.

The 300ZX and Corvette were together, they had driven to Portland, Oregon to buy the 300ZX, I was on my way to the Bonneville Salt Flats for 'Speed Week'.

Anonymous said... »July 13, 2010

lmao...what a loooooooooooooooooooooooser.

Anonymous said... »September 07, 2010

its obvious that the Mazda driver has something to prove. HE was the one who wanted to challenge the other driver. The BMW did not ask for a challenge. What was the wanker / jerkoff in the Mazda trying to prove? THat he has a modified car that is fast? immature. i also get that - stupid immature little single boys who want to race my 335. What the hell for? I have a kid in the car, you silly little immature insignificant college boy. I have bigger issues in life than racing your little teen-ass, boy-racer car. You're in another world, son. Run along now and go and play with your little boy-racer friends.

3 series P.O.S with a chick driving

Anonymous said... »October 14, 2010

"in your little shitbox" lol, bmw's are fast but also very smooth, you don't enjoy them by driving like a rallye driver, they are more autobahn cars, fast in a straight line. And there are horrible arrogant drivers in every brand.

xerces8 said... »November 01, 2010

The safety distance by law (probably not same in every country...) is 2 seconds (times speed).
On the video is is mostly 1 second.

A typical bozo-meets-bozo situation.
Or "I didn't do nothing...".

A "BMW driver" is not about the make of the car, but the "make" of the driver. In this case both were BMW drivers.

Anonymous said... »November 15, 2010

mazda guy annoys me as hell..kudos to the bimmer guy! if i had a gun, i will shoot his shitbox tyre flat!

Anonymous said... »March 17, 2011

Its just a typical BMW driver. They buy a shit box and then believe they are the best driver in the world. The guy probably has a very small cock or was abused as a child.
