Talk about a lightning fast response. It's been less than 24 hours since Audi pulled the veils off the fourth-generation A6 premium sedan, and yet we already have a photoshop rendering of the future RS6 created by an artist from EDL. Granted, the production model would most likely sport blistered wheel arches while it wouldn't sit so close to the ground, but the 'chop gives us an idea of what an RS version of the new A6 would look like.
Rendering aside, we're still in the dark about the details surrounding the next generation RS6. Despite some rumors of Audi opting for a force-fed V8 engine, we wouldn't dismiss the possibility of the German firm using an upgraded version of the 5.2-litre V10 engine mated to a new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. In any case, expect the horsepower-war between German luxury carmakers to continue with Audi's proposal moving closer to the 600hp mark.

It looks good... typical Audi RS design...
it won't look like this, because it's too low and it doesn't have wide fenders
Somewhat premature they don't do RS models till the end of model cycles...
Yes, it looks good, but as with all of these photoshopped images this is just someone's guesswork at what the RS6 might look like. Half the time those guesses are wrong, sometimes miles off the mark.
One thing's for sure - the next RS6 will be quick.
yep, it looks good, but a little bit low for a production version
great photoshop job, but bad taste. that thing looks all wigger.
"it won't look like this, because it's too low and it doesn't have wide fenders"
x2
if audi can do nice car like this , they are not audi anymore , audi is supposed to be boring and ugly comparing to mercedes and bmw .

You obviously know nothing about cars.
As a professional photographer I finally have the means to own the Audi Quattro RS-6 Avant and I hear that in 2012 they may change that beautiful 5.2 liter V10 for a meager V8. I'm hoping that they just upgrade the V10 and a few more hp to 600 hp, and that seven speed transmission. Hoping to see it soon
