|

The 300,000th Hyundai rolled off the firm's manufacturing facility in Nošovice, Czech Republic, marking a new production milestone for the company in Europe. The vehicle was a white i30 CW, which is the station wagon version of the European market i30 compact hatch.

Hyundai opened the European facility at the end of 2008. It produces the i30, i30cw, and newly launched ix20 and exports to 50 countries across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

with 38-42% sold to fleets over the past year, it's no wonder it has flowers on it like a casket. i always seem to end up driving one of these cheap things when renting a car for business or obtaining a loaner when bringing the wife's sonata in for its many repairs. next time? a ford or honda.

Hey, be grateful you get a loaner. While they are good enough to wash my 2011 Sonata whenever I bring it in, not once have they offered me one. Not like when I owned a BMW. Sometimes the loaners actually made service visits fun, especially whenever I got to take home one of the brand new models for a weekend. And we're talking fully loaded top of the line, not some entry-level, base model.
