According to Hyundai's dedicated Veloster web page, we'll have to wait for the Detroit Motor Show to open its doors on Monday, January 10, to see the new sports hatch in the flesh. However, the South Korean automaker continues the tease with the release of yet another photo, this time revealing the Veloster's asymmetric layout with two conventional doors on the passenger's side and a single door on the driver's side. The Veloster also gets a large rear hatch with a split rear glass.
While official details on powertrain options remain scarce, it has been reported that the Veloster will be offered with a 1.6-liter unit boasting direct-injection tech and an output of around 140-horsepower. The four-cylinder unit is said to be hooked up to a dual-clutch transmission returning up to 40mpg (5.8 lt/100km).

Hyundai and Kia continue their product onslaught filling every niche going, I for one think this car looks exciting and looking forward to it's unveiling. These Koreans have improved so rapidly other manufacturers, Japanese, American and European should be seriously concerned

This car is Looking good so far . Hyundai and KIA is really doing amazing things with their cars in design, style, reliability and price. The Hyundai Veloster is going to be anther win win for Hyundai. I think the Sonata , Veloster , Elantra are all going to be Hyundai biggest sellers
