There’s nothing faster, short of a Formula 1 car, than a Bugatti Veyron, right? In particular, a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport boasting a 1,200HP quad-turbocharged 16-cylinder engine, four-wheel drive tech and a 258 mph (415 km/h) top speed. Whoever is behind its wheel must feel invincible, right?
Well, actually, no. A few days ago, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a Veyron Super Sport that was ready to begin its climb up the hill pulled over and let another car start first. What car was that?
A bright yellow Hennessey Venom GT with 1,200HP and a 0-200 mph (0-320 km/h) time of just 15.9 seconds. Watch the in-car video past the jump as the Venom GT tackles the hill climb.

It's great watching Bill Caswell try to reach for a roof handhold, and his bugging-out as the Hennessey is throttled. Wonder if Bill had to change his pants after the run?
forget about change the pants, it looks more like the whole seat and the carpet have to be changed.
The driver was the one scared, not the Bugatti...
The Venom GT can achieve Mach 1 but I'll still prefer the Veyron. Why? Because its a freaking BUGATTI versus a Henne...(I forgot the rest).
my advise to the bugatti owner is to get rid of that blinking taillights. it just makes you look like a fag.
^^^ hey genius, thats how leds appear on camera
There will always be something faster then.the last years fastest...it is just how it goes...
Duh.
Isn't the blinking lights just to do with the refresh rate of the LED lights and the camera? Just like the old "looks like the wheels are spinning backwards on tv" trick, or when you used to see crt monitors flickering when they were filmed. I remember a new ferrari on top gear recently, the headlights were blinking quickly - I just put it down to the same phenomenon.
Oh I almost forgot, nice video...
^^ Nice "advise" genius but this is how leds appear on camera.
am I missing something or the transmission is not that "venom". he pushes it couple of times to shift
Driver cant shift or the transmission is not that great. Nice car no matter what
If the hennessey had a time of 15.9 what was the bugatti's time why didn't they say the bugatti time i'm a fan of both cars but why didn't they say the time of the bugatti
