In the Spotlight: How to Overkill a Ferrari 458 Italia

|

Electric lamps are so passé these days. The way of the future is LEDs or Light-emitting diodes that can be found just about everywhere. Lately, LEDs have taken the automotive industry by storm with carmakers offering them either optionally or standard on most of their models.

But it’s not only regular carmakers that have adopted the new lighting technology; so has the tuning industry which discovered a new toy to attract consumers. The results, as you can see from this example of a Ferrari 458 Italia slathered in LEDs, aren’t always graceful. Video follows after the break.

Holy shit-ta. Well, you have to consider that this is J-pan, and they love this shit-ta. This is mild in comparison to what else they've done to exotics with lighting.

Hmm, this is kind cool.  Kind of helps the car be seen better at night too.

For me this is a UFO, with all those blinking lights. We are turning into the Aliens from Mars we are afraid of.

I can all ready see people in The United States lining up and complaining that the lights are too bright.  The Lights on the Hood are a little over kill but the lights in the Engine compartment and Blinkers are Amazing.
