Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Le Monstre to Terrorize Las Vegas with 1,001HP Supercharged V8

|

The SEMA Show is all about excess - be that for the appearance and performance of the tuned cars or the…upgraded booth models.

And there seems to be plenty of that going on with the 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe created by "The D3 Group", which will be displayed at Toyo Tire U.S.A.'s booth at the Las Vegas aftermarket show.

The car is nicknamed Le Monstre as a homage to the 1950 Cadillac Coupe Series 61 that competed in the 24 Hours of LeMans in 1950, piloted by American driver Briggs Cunningham.

The monster CTS-V Coupe is motivated by a heavily modified version of the stock car's 564HP 6.2-liter LSA V8 enlarged to 7.0-liter (427 cubic-inches) and featuring upgraded internals. It delivers a whopping 1,001-horses and 1,000 lb. ft. of torque.

The coupe's suspension and chassis have also been upgraded while the car rolls on new 20-inch wheels shod in Toyo Proxes T1R UHP summer tires size 275/30ZR20 at the front and 345/25ZR20 at the rear.

On the outside, the CTS-V Coupe gains a sinister-looking matte black wrap by Wraptivo and a custom wide-body.

More details on the car will be released next week.

those sharp angles are so yesteryear, like the 80's design, why do these CEO at GM allow such a out of date design to go on?
oh yes, they're GM's CEOs, nothing but a bunch of dead beat zombies.
