Chevy Teases Two Corvette Concepts Ahead of 2011 SEMA Show

|

If anything, General Motors' Chevrolet brand will have one of the most comprehensive displays at this year's edition of the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas.

We've already given you a sample of the tuned Sonic hatchbacks, Cruze sedans and Camaro Coupe and Convertible concepts that are heading down to the strip, and now it's time to show you a pair of Corvette concept cars.

The first 'Vette study is the Carlisle Blue Grand Sport named after its new blue hue. The concept also gets pearl-white racing stripes while it rolls on a bespoke set of silver alloy wheels and features a number of performance and styling enhancements.

The second concept is the Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Hall of Fame Tribute edition, which of course celebrates the induction of Corvette racing driver Ron Fellow into the National Corvette Museum’s Hall of Fame. The Z06 was upgraded with numerous original accessories and features custom graphics.

The Corvette Carlisle Blue Grand Sport Concept is quite nice looking with its 370Zish rims. Still it's a GM product, but one of the few I actually respect. Too Bad the Corvette brand has not been spun-off into private hands, away from GM.

Corvette needs to have a "DELETE INTERIOR" Option. One problem, save "ONLY" $ 10.

They build them this way to keep twits like you from buying them.

That's great news! I love the style of the Corvette. It's a sports car with the design of a luxury car. Well I'll be looking for more updated photos of that new and upcoming concept.

Rmcampbell is right.  The only thing wrong with the current 'Vettes is the crap interior, especially the Cavalier steering wheel.

If they are built for twits like you, you can keep 'em.
