We strongly oppose any form of violence on the road or anywhere else, for that matter, but what happens when you actually see someone attacking another person? Obviously, there's not one answer to that question as it all depends on the circumstances and whether or not someone's life is in danger.
In yet another wild incident from Russia that was captured on camera, a middle-age man in a Mercedes-Benz was squabbling with an elderly man in a hatchback.
The talk quickly escalated and the person in the Merc stepped out of the car and began attacking the other driver, initially punching and then kicking him with all his strength.
At that point, a young man in an Audi SUV stopped over and came to the scene and said something to the Mercedes driver who brushed him away. Seconds later the Audi driver runs back with a metal bat in his hand and whacks the tough guy on his legs putting him down. He then rushes to the Mercedes and breaks the mirror and windows before returning to his Audi and driving off!
If any of you are good with Russian translations, we'd appreciate it if you enlighten us about what's been said here in the comments section below.

Mercedes Driver takes on...is that a Chevette driver, then gets owned by an Audi Q7 owner.
Nothing to see here. Move along!
This is the 3rd "from Russia with love" dashboard cam video I've seen in 3 days. So posting messed up stuff from the former Soviet Union has become real blogger fodder. It makes me pretty sick. Really, give me some car news, not this. I want to know about the next WRX/STI, not this stuff. Let me know when the configuator for the FT-86/BRZ comes out, not watching a bunch of morons acting like idiots. Thank you.
The idiot on Mercedes was trying to turn left from the second line when the old guy in oldskool Russian car has started to sound his horn. The guy from Q7 is Sergey Svetlakov, a famous Russian television anchorman (http://svetlakov.ru/), made bastard's day with baseball bat.
First that shockingly irresponsible footage of the G Power Bemmer doing what it was designed to do...
Then the totally irresponsible Chechnya Wedding Parade videos of people enjoying themselves...
however this takes the biscuit...using a camera phone whilst stationary...
let me say it for all the Mr DoRights...
this is very irresponsible,
I'm outraged...!
oh, Dahna beat me to it....
Dahna, I agree. The behaviour of the people there is a disgrace for humanity, and does not need further exposure. It is blunt chaos over there, not only in the streets.
Love it!
It isn't real video:) It's a PR-promo for a new film starring Sergey Svetlakov.
No one is forcing you to watch the Russian videos. Has it ever occurred to you that the other readers may not ALL share your opinion and may, in fact, appreciate and enjoy them? Besides they don't interfere with any of the other news as they are in the "Offbeat News" section! So, shut up!
He's a great actor...Asga was totally convinced
Dahna has a lot of nerve critisizing the Russian culture......hope they keep it coming........love watching dumb people.
Couldn't agree more. I love watching trash get what they deserve.
Should have run him over for good measure as well.
Damn I started watching that at the wrong moment. I saw the Cyrillic on the top and then the old man getting hit with the bat. I thought it was "payment."
I don't think watching a fight between two men on the side of a road is considered a "cultural trait" in Russia, or anywhere on Earth for that matter.
Nevertheless, at least it's car related, unlike that video about a guy on a motorcycle riding over the ridge of a mountian.
Payback's a b!tch, aint it? I hope the old guy was ok.
god shall punish him and his audi
next time your old man gets beaten up, remember to cuss at the person who saved his ass...idiot
What is happening to Russia?
Poor old guy getting punched and kicked for doing nothing wrong clearly the benz is at fault. Aw look the old man has his left signal on and the benz driver failed to signal at all you don't see his blinker in the front or the blinker on the mirror that gets torn off. By the hand gestures the benz wanted to make an illegal u turn. The audi driver asked the guy to stop when he happened on the beating and looks like the benz driver ignored him twice and after a slight pause resumed the beating twice. The audi driver exacted less violence then the instigator in the benz with only a single blow to stop him from kicking the old man in the car as it was obvious he wouldn't stop after being asked twice .Audi guy he leave benz guy with a memento on how he shouldn't beat up old people. I hope the old guy in the car was ok and is still alive hope he did take any blows to his head. Old people are more fragile and I'm sure his face and body was purple and black the next day. The guy in the benz got what he deserved and what he did to the old guy came full circle on back on himself. If he just stopped after the first few hits and got back in his guy when the audi guy asked him twice to stop all would have been avoided. By the looks of the vid there was no vehicle impact or damaged between the two cars involved. Karma came full circle on the guy and he received a taste of the violence he started.
Its an 80s Moskvich
Its adopting American ways. What else?
Сергей Светлаков (Sergei Svetlakov) is a very famous and good actor from Russia, that just didnt enjoy what that animal was doing for some old guy and give a small help :) Congratulations Сергей Светлаков (Sergei Svetlakov)His webpage - http://svetlakov.ru/
Its a Moskvich Aleko, not a Chevette :D
Acting, promotional campaign of the new film !!!!
Acting, promotional campaign of the new film !!!!
hehe sucked in! thats funny
The one guy says what is wrong with you, calm down. The attacker says mind your own damn bisiness. Then the other comes back with bat, takes him down and breaks mirror, etc. and says leave old people alone before driving away.
Though it seems that the guy with the bat paid retribution for the guy who hit the old man, it is unacceptable. Road Rage is still a major problem and has caused more accidents, second only to drunk driving. It is hard to get involved in these situations, so one must always prepared.
