We're less than 48 hours away from the grand opening of 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and we've already had our first leak of the day with the official pictures and video of the 2013 Dodge Dart.
Now, Volkswagen's Canadian arm is trying to capture our attention with the release of a picture shot at its Detroit Auto Show booth that shows an unidentified vehicle wrapped up in a sheet.
"The North American International Auto Show kicks off Monday in Detroit. Volkswagen has something big to reveal. What do you think it will be?" the company asks on its Facebook page where it published the picture.
We know for a fact that Volkswagen will debut a new all-electric concept model based on the latest Beetle and a hybrid version of the Jetta sedan that will go on sale towards the end of the year.
Judging by the lines of the car that show up on the cover, our first guess is that it may be the Jetta hybrid but we could be wrong.

I wish RG. I've been waiting for that Jetta Coupe to show its face again as a production model sinces it was first previewed. VW is losing potential sales by not manufacturing it now. My guess however would be the ill-fated Phateon under the sheet.
How about the real Passat.
The new Phaeton would be cool, but man if it is the Jetta Coupe I am driving upto get one.
Dammit, if I was one of the media folk standing around, I woulda run up to that car, pulled that cover down, snap pics and scamper before they could stop me!..
My best guess, judging from the "somewhat short" roofline...I think it's the Passat Coupe (I know, it's not the CC, a real 2dr coupe).
The Detroit News reports insurance premiums have declined 5 years in a row. I can't remember a cycle like this ever. Of course, not everybody has had a decline, mine actually went up high but found "Clearance Auto Insurance" that I could easily reduce it
It doesn't look like a Jetta at all: The front end is way too long. My guess is a new sportscar from the firm, kind of like the new BRZ from Subaru.

Under the veil, the long low nose and upright windshield have a strong hint of VW Cross-Coupe SUV concept about them...
