A fairly new Ferrari F430 was cut in half and burned to the ground in a shocking accident that took place earlier today in a suburb of Athens, Greece. If you take a look at what is left from the grey-colored Italian supercar, you'd be hard pressed to believe that anyone made it out alive from the accident.
Yet from some sort of miracle, coincidence or perhaps divine intervention, both the driver and passenger were saved – though they did suffer some injuries.
A report from local news site Vimaonline, said that the man driving the Ferrari and whom we see injured in the video, is ship owner I. Leontiadis.
Eyewitnesses said that Leontiadis was driving too fast for the conditions of the wet road in Vouliagmeni and at some point lost control of the F430 smashing into a tree on the median. The crash was so severe that the Ferrari broke in two.
The driver and the passenger were trapped in the car, but luckily, firefighters came to the scene almost immediately and were able to get both out of the vehicle only minutes before it caught on fire.
Video footage from the crash follows below.

Not surprising - these super sports cars are not Crash Tested at all, so it is no suprise they break into 100 pieces when they crash... You would be safer in a Mini than one of these types of cars
Incredibly irresponsible...who was the idiot that planted the trees on the medium strip.
Wow....there really is nothing left of the car...
Nearly everyday when I drive my children to school I witness another car which has crashed into a tree or light post along this road. Yesterday it was raining all day and the road was very slippery. Just 30 minutes before this crash there was another one just one block before and the car landed on the medium, cut in half and the driver did not survive. Very sad and a very dangerous road. Pray for me everyday I have to drive there.
THIS IS VERY NICE

Divine intervention ?! It if weren't for those firefighters who actually got them out of the burning wreckage they would have been cooked. So what did god do to help those people exactly ? And why would he care for these rich bastards anyway ? I know, because he's a loving god. But, he doesn't seem to like rich people: "Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."
Where was god at 9/11 btw ? Surely he was busy saving some lamborghini driver rofl. But that's why they say "the Lord works in mysterious ways".
Is that a MARTA bus I See? Just Kidding
