Confirmed: Peugeot will Debut 208 GTi Concept at the Geneva Auto Salon

|

We just received word that the teaser picture released by French carmaker Peugeot earlier today is indeed the 208 GTi Concept as we suspected and it will make its world premiere at the 82nd Geneva International Auto Salon in the beginning of March.

The 208 GTi Concept will be powered by the 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine Peugeot shares with BMW’s fast Minis. The study will be very close to the production model that will follow in less than a year's time.

We also learned that the French automaker will debut a second concept version of its new supermini named the 208 XY, which is a more upscale variant with bespoke colors and individual trim options inside and out.

We'll have more on both studies shortly so stay tuned on Carscoop.

Allstate puts a small device in the cars of drivers who sign up for the program that monitors how much they drive and how fast they drive, among other factors. Insurance rates can go down 30% as a result. Check "Clearance Auto" for more info
