At last year's Geneva Motor Show, Lancia previewed its adopted models from the Chrysler brand in pre-production form, and now the Italians are returning to the…scene of the crime at the 2012 edition of the Swiss salon to debut the final version of the Flavia Cabrio before it goes on sale across Europe in late March.
We're not sure where Lancia gets its feedback from, but in the company's own words, the Flavia Cabrio enjoyed "critical and public success at the most prestigious motor shows".
In any case, the Lancia-badged Chrysler 200 Convertible will be offered in Europe with a 2.4-liter inline-four with 175-horses and 225Nm of peak torque linked to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission.
There will only be one well-equipped model fitted with alloy wheels, electronic stability control (ESC), a full leather interior, automatic climate control, electrically operated soft top, keyless entry, heated and electrically adjustable seats and door mirrors, automatic headlamps, navigation system and a high-end Boston Acoustics Sound System that include 6 speakers and a 40GB hard disk as standard.

Its just pity... Look at AUDI and see what cars they produce today and until the 80's nobody knew what audi is. And now look what we have here... Lancia - probably the greatest automaker of all time with the most innovative inventions in the car history are rebadging poor Chryslers and pretend they are "the best of both worlds"... pity.
Lancia was in poor shape long before Chysler came into the picture. Even then, Lancia was far from ever being "the greatest automaker of all time".

Yes, Lancia is greater than Mercedes Benz for all their traditions in terms of engineering overkill, Lancia is greater than Citroen for inventing the monocoque (!), FWD (!) and the supremely good hydraulic suspension which even MB used under license for the 600 Pullman and Lancia is greater than Volvo for it's safety innovations (3 point belt) which have saved millions of people over the years.
You are a Top Gear fan who needs something to believe in. I am sorry to inform you, but TG don't know crap about cars, and all this Lancia propaganda is based on next to nothing. Lancias have always been rotting piles of crap with only the racing engineering team having any merit whatsoever. They deserved to die because they tried to sell visions of ideas, not any actual well-realized-into-cars-ideas, and instead of existing for their clients, Lancia mocked them and leeched from their wallets just so they can have another idea and then never engineer it properly for the road.F*CK YOU LANCIA, I hope you rot in hell.
Actually i dont really watch Top Gear. Yes, I have watched this episode just of curiousity after i was told by a friend, but my oppinion is not based on that show, but they do had a point tho. Most of the modern cars use sh*tloads of Lancia's innovations. This brand clearly made the biggest inventions in automobile history and if that doesnt make them the greatest...
