Volkswagen has just released a new spot that employs the use of a Fast and Furious-style Honda CR-X de Sol from the mid-1990s to promote its revised 2012 Tiguan SUV and more specifically, its safety credentials. Obviously, the goal here is to draw the attention of a younger crowd.
You can watch it in the video that follows after the jump.

Let me get this straight..... the girls mom allows the boyfriend (with questionable tastes) to drive her mint Tiguan? Hmmm....
That was great.
You've got the wrong name for the Honda. It wasn't called the Honda CR-X de Sol. It was the Honda Civic del Sol.
The car is Honda Del Sol...An ugly one at that...just thought I mentionned it,,,Cheers
First off, you need to add mismatched rims recessed deep into the fender wells well within the aero kit rubbish. Next, it's time to get your daughter prepped and ready for college and away from bloody louts such as said dickhead who owns the green weeniemobile. He's more likely to be preparing for sniffing spray paint cans and a career in shitty autobody work from you local jack-of-all-trades shop. BTW, odds are he ran the shit out of your Tiguan for shits-n-giggles and has no funds whatsoever for any repairs related to his hijinks.

Everything Intervention said plus the fact that the Tiguan has more room for jiggey so the daughter's probably pregnant by now or has some std.
In America it was called a De Sol
The video kinda goes with the MK6 GTI un pimp your ride ads making fun of riced up Hondas.
I <3 it
Seems like most bloggers on this site are teens.
Uh Carscoop, its a DEL SOL, not CR-X
....and you are the only retard.
Hilarious! Whoever wrote this commercial has a teenage daughter.
Also, who cares what POS Honda it is!
I think the "Please help me!" look on her face as she is starting the car outside of the store - while the young store employee stairs at her and "her ride" - is piss-your-pants funny. I laugh my ass off at this commercial every time I see it. Well done!
