Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Crashes During Test, Captured on Camera!

Many things can go wrong during a test, especially if it involves a highly powerful supercar like the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, which is why automotive engineers select remote places like the Arctic Circle.

However, being that our spies travel to all four corners of the world with the goal of capturing a future model on film, there is always the slim possibility that they'll be on hand when something goes wrong. It's usually a one in a million shot, but stranger things have happened.

And that one in a million chance came when one of our scoop photographers was waiting for a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 to pass by somewhere in the Arctic Circle and there, it happened; it crashed into the snow!

One of the photographer's associates described the incident to Carscoop thusly:

"Originally, our photographer thought the car coming down the road was an Aventador Roadster prototype. As the car approached the intersection, at a speed that appeared faster than the posted speed limit, the driver lost control, skidded through the intersection and crashed into a large snow bank.

If that wasn't enough, the driver then leaped out of the car, nearly falling down in the process, and came at our photographer in a fairly aggressive manner.

By the time an Audi A6 allroad, equipped with a winch, came to pull the raging bull out of the snow, things had calmed down. The driver scooped the snow out of the car, gave us a large smile and a big thumbs up, and got back to work! Not exactly the finger we were expecting to see.

Fortunately, the driver, and the car, came away from the mishap totally unharmed."

See ? All-wheel drive is not always good :) If it was rear-wheel-drive it would probably get stuck in snow much, much sooner :)

Probably because they are all owned by the Volkswagen Group.
